P.E.A.C.E Program

We believe that the elimination of all forms of violence, including childhood violence, is ideal to ensure that our children can thrive.

The P.E.A.C.E. program aims to:

Create a safe, supportive school climate.
Encourage students to take responsibility for their part in maintaining safe school environments.
Reiterate that students report potential problems to school officials.
Remind students of the importance of resisting peer pressure to act irresponsibly.
Encourage anonymous reporting systems (e.g., student hot lines, suggestion boxes, and “tell an adult” systems).
Create school-community partnerships to enhance safety measures for students beyond school property.
Highlight violence prevention programs.
Emphasise the efforts to teach students alternatives to violence.
